Kulipari: An Army of Frogs is an American Flash animated television series animated by Splash Entertainment that debuted in September 2016 as a Netflix original series. It was produced by Clarise Cameron and Patrick Inness. The show is based on Trevor Pryce's novel series An Army of FrogsKulipari: Heritage, a four-issue comic book miniseries.

Why It Rocks

  1. Decent animation.
  2. An amazing ensemble voice cast with Josh Keaton (Spectacular Spider-Man, Transformers Prime) Mikey Kelley (Ratchet & Clank, TMNT), Lacey Chabert (The Wild Thornberries, Justice League), Phil Lamarr (Samurai Jack, Foster's), Keith David (Gargoyles, Princess and the Frog), Charlie Adler (Cow and Chicken, Tiny Toons), Wendie Malick (Emperor's New Groove, Jimmy Neutron), and Mark Hamill (Star Wars.. nuf' said!)
  3. The series was produced by Tad Stones, known for creating shows like Darkwing Duck.
  4. Some animated shows feel rather aimless and lethargic in terms of plot, but Kulipari keeps the stakes high.
  5. The actions scenes are kinetic and fluid.

Bad Qualities

  1. The movement of the characters are not that good to look at.

Trivia

  • The trees in this show are drawn so distinctively so that they look like the trees you might find in a real forest or jungle.
