Prehistoric Park is a 2006 minseries about a park that brings prehistoric creatures though time portals to give them a second chance.

Why It Rocks

  1. The storytelling is good if simplistic. it makes you feel for the animals, whether they're facing extinction, are injured heavily, or get second chances.
  2. The visuals are impressive, mixing both excellent CG and animatronics.
  3. Nigel is a good host, and while not an actor, his acting is very good.

Bad Qualities

  1. Some of the designs of the creatures are now inaccurate, like troodonts with very tiny feathers instead of a full coat.
  2. The characters occasionally make dumb or underestimating decisions, like thinking they can contain titanosaurs (can you guess how big they are based on name alone?) with wooden fences alone.
