(Added a Season 3 episode and the episodes from Season 4. I found out from the Soundeffects Wiki that it actually had 4 seasons. Not to forget, I added a quality to the WIR section. The show also had 53 episodes in total, not 40.)

  4. This show has good morals.
  5. Catchy and unforgettable theme song.
  6. Great quality. Especially for Nelvana standards.
    • The quality is a little like the art style used on the Berenstain Bears. But overall, it's at it's original.
  7. Very good lip-syncing compared to other Nelvana shows.
  8. The additional characters are well-played.
  9. The 2D animation is great.
  10. The fact that the children were born as human-babies but became monsters is interesting.
    • But it never happens in real life. Humans can't really transform into monsters.
  11. Nice voice acting from Dwayne Hill, Colin Mochrie, Debra McGrath, Sean Cullen, Michele Scarabelli and Joanne Vannicola. However, Three sounds a bit like Four in comparison, and Six almost sounds like One.

Bad Qualities

  1. The animation, while great, can suffer from animation errors.
  2. Some bad episodes include
    • Are You My Family?
      • This episode is a female version of "The Mystery of The Missing Five." But instead, it's about Six running away when One affects her feelings. However, One cried a little when she lost Six after losing her. At the end of the episode, each of the monsters are wearing circus-designed clown costumes. Except, Two and Seven were clowns, Three and Five were elephants, Six was normal, One was a ringmaster and Four was normal.
  3. The characters, although likeable, can get a little annoying.

Reception

Seven Little Monsters was met with a 6.5/10 on IMDB.

Trivia

  • Dwayne Hill also starred in Timothy Goes to School.
  • Maurice Sendak, the creator of the series, also created Little Bear.
