Ben 10/Generator Rex: Heroes United is the 3rd-4th episode of the 3rd season of Generator Rex, and the 43rd-44th episode overall. It is a crossover with Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, and it’s the 2nd Cartoon Network crossover overall, after The Grim Adventures of the KND. Unlike the first CN crossover, this one was much more well-received, and is considered one of the best crossovers in CN history.

Rex teams up with an alternate superhero, Ben Tennyson, to save the Earth from a deadly Alpha Nanite that entered New York through a swirling vortex, the same way Ben arrived in the city.

Why It Rocks

  1. It's really epic! It’s a crossover between Man of Action’s most beloved shows, which also happen to be 2 of Cartoon Network’s most beloved shows, it can’t get any more epic than this.
  2. The animation from Generator Rex is still awesome.
  3. Like all characters from Generator Rex, Ben (both 10 and 16 year old), his aliens, Gwen, Grandpa Max, and Kevin (the latter 3 seen in flashbacks) have excellent character designs in this special with a dark color palette.
  4. The voice acting is still top-notch, especially Yuri Lowenthal as Ben and Upgrade, and Daryl Sabara as Rex.
  5. Excellent comedy, especially the moment when Ben and Rex accidentally wear each other’s jackets.
    • Ben: Why does my Jacket smell like Bananas?
      Rex: Agh! This feels tight!
  6. Very dramatic moments, like the scene where Agent Six falls into a coma and when Alpha took the Alpha-Omega from Rex.
  7. Everyone from Generator Rex is still pretty lovable, especially Rex, as this is one of the episodes where he’s at his best, and he gets along with Ben pretty well after understanding his situation and works together with him pretty well.
  8. Alpha is an awesome, intriguing and pretty terrifying villain.
  9. All of the action in one episode, like the fight between Ben and Rex, as well as their fight against Alpha, and all of these fights have non-stop action all the way.
  10. Ben is still pretty likable, as this is one of the times where he’s at his best, as he gets along with Rex pretty well after telling him his situation, works together with him pretty well, and his aliens are still awesome. Especially the return of XLR8 and Upgrade, and the debut of Shocksquatch (the name given to it in Ben 10: Omniverse).
  11. Good ending where Alpha is defeated and sent to the Null Void, Ben goes back home, Six recovers from his coma much to everyone’s relief, especially Rex’s, and Caesar gets the Alpha-Omega back into Rex.

This crossover received positive reviews from critics, audiences and fans of both shows. It received a 9/10 rating on
