RULES AND GUIDELINES
  1. When editing this wiki, stick to TV series/web shows that have garnered an opinion over the majority and not just personal thoughts. Series can generally have a page here if their score on IMDb is higher than 4.5/10. Mind that there can be exceptions to this rule if good reasons are provided.
  2. The main heading to use for each wiki page is Why It/He/She Rocks. The latter must contain valid and detailed reasons; do your best to avoid generic stuff like "good acting/animation/soundtrack/etc". Custom headings, including "Good Qualities" for shows considered decent, aren’t allowed due to being completely unnecessary and the potential of users inserting coarse language on the headings. Coloring names aren’t allowed, as pages must be kept simple. Plus, they show up wrong on certain devices.
  3. Web reviewers/YouTubers are not acceptable unless they have an extremely and widely known good reputation.
  4. Do not create new categories. If you think a new category is needed ask the admins and they'll make it for you if your suggestion proves to be useful.
  5. NSFW content on pages is forbidden on this wiki. Awesome NSFW shows are allowed as long as an NSFW tag is added to the page.
  6. If you want to create a Sandbox page, do not tag your sandbox page with categories, as they will not only clutter the categories, they are only for actual articles.
  7. Do not create a page about a series that hasn't been broadcast yet. No exceptions.
  8. Reviews are optional. Though, if you plan to put in the reviews made by critics, it is also OK to take reviews from other sources. However, plagiarism is not acceptable for anything else. If your article is suspected of being plagiarized, it will get deleted.
  9. Rude behavior towards other users will not be accepted. If you are rude towards another user, expect a ban.
  10. We allow memes, but please put them in the “Reception” section if needed.
  11. Please refrain from swearing in the articles. Swearing in the comment section, however, is allowed as long as it's not used to offend other users.
  12. Be as formal as possible when editing.
  13. Removing information or messing with the articles without giving a good reason is considered vandalism and can result in a ban.
  14. Reasons for deleted comments are: malicious propaganda, harassing others, pornography or if the comment makes no sense.
  15. You will always be able to argue about your block on your own message wall, unless what you did was unforgivable.
  16. Once a show is on the wiki, it should not be on the other wiki.
  17. Do not add the fact that the show has some scenes that can be too frightening for children, a bad "fandom/hatedom", or a bad video game adaptation or movie under "Bad Qualities", or the fact that the show spawned memes under "Why It Rocks". Doing so will result in a block without warning.
  18. Do not add any blog posts that are hit pieces about users you don't like.
  19. If you plan on making a sandbox, please do not use it outside of making approved pages.
    • Sandboxes should also not be linked to categories as they messed up the categories and likely flood them, anyone who's still doing that will be blocked for 2 weeks without a warning.
  20. Note that we are neutral to all ideologies except SJWs and racism.
  21. Do not close threads so soon without waiting for someone else to give their two cents.
  22. Do not send foe requests to any user, as it will likely cause drama.
  23. Do not add in the bad qualities that a certain actor is a pedophile/accused of sexual misconduct, as this is not the fault of the show. Anyone who does this will be blocked.
  24. Downvoting comments is no longer allowed, due to the heavy amount of opinion disrespecting and trollism, and the comment code has been changed to upvotes only. Anyone who downvotes a comment after changing the code back to normal will be blocked without warning.
  25. Do not use terms like "Receptiontards, Receptionspregs or Receptionf**s", as they're nothing but insults to people who like the Reception Wikis and they will likely cause drama.
  26. No harmful and insulting content directed to the wikis and to their users posted off-site will be tolerated; in addition, no excuses like "it's a joke", "it is not to be taken seriously" will be valid. Regarding how old the offending content is, it will be up to the administration staff to decide but know that generally the harmfulness of verifiable malicious content doesn't expire after a certain period of time.
  27. For admins, please do not delete comments, blogs, or talk pages that contain criticisms of the wikis, as it will make us look like we can't handle criticism.
