Big Time Rush is a Nickelodeon American teen sitcom that ran from November 28, 2009 until July 25, 2013. It was created by Scott Fellows (who also created Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and Johnny Test).
Why It Rocks
The plot is very creative, because it focuses on a real life band called Big Time Rush.
The humor is very funny.
The theme song is very catchy.
Very likable characters.
Patchy The Pirate from SpongeBob SquarePants makes a special cameo appearance.
The boys themselves are very cool and funny.
There is no laugh track in this.
It brings back the charm of previous Nick sitcoms, such as iCarly and Drake & Josh.
The songs that the boys sing are decent, especially the theme song.
It was a huge improvement over Johnny Test, and also brought Scott Fellows back to his rightful fame as well.
Great humor and plots.
George Hawk is a very intimidating main antagonist.
The film they made was very decent and funny.
It spawned many specials, such as Big Time Christmas and Big Time Beach Party, with most of them being very successful.
The series finale was very decent and heartwarming.
Bad Qualities
Some of the jokes and humor are a bit too mature for its target audience.
The show's crossover with Marvin Marvin was not well received.
The title for the episodes are a bit uncreative, as they all have "Big Time" in them.
Kelly Wainwright can be a jerk sometimes.
While the introduction is very good, it can be forgettable.
