Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman (地球戦隊ファイブマン Chikyū Sentai Faibuman, lit. Earth Squadron Fiveman) is the Toei Company production and the 14th entry of Super Sentai series. It aired on TV Asahi from March 2, 1990 to February 8, 1991, with a total of 48 episodes.

Why It Rocks

  1. The team is full of likeable characters such as Gaku Hoshikawa/FiveRed, Ken Hoshikawa/FiveBlue, Kazumi Hoshikawa/FivePink and Remi Hoshikawa/FiveYellow.
    • Even Fumiya has some funny and cool moments.
  2. The idea of having all of the siblings as teachers is a unique concept and was very interesting.
  3. It improves in some ways on the previous season.
  4. The Five Robo looks simple but cool.
  5. The theme song is fun and catchy.
  6. First Captain Chevalier and Galactic Swordsman Billion were very both threatening villains and fun to watch.
  7. The ending song is passable to say at least.
  8. The suits designs are very nice to look at.
  9. It has plenty of good episodes such as the premiere, the 9th episode and the 15th episode.
  10. It started the famous body swap episode trend, that became an iconic piece in the Sentai franchise.
  11. The finale is very intense, with a suspenseful leadup and exhilarating final battle.

Bad Qualities

  1. It had some filler episodes.
