Clogged is the twelfth episode of the second season of Mickey Mouse. It premiered on Disney Channel on December 12, 2014.

Plot

Minnie attempts to make a windmill work in order to save a flower in her garden.

Why the Flower Keep Growing

  1. At the beginning of the episode, Minnie's singing voice is very cute to listen to, with the wonderful talents of Russi Taylor.
  2. The concept of Minnie trying to save an flower from being de-hydrated is pretty much a good concept.
  3. There is an funny scene where Donald Duck (who makes an cameo) get an wig thrown on his head.
  4. Good Ending: Minnie sees the de-hydrated flower, now grown into an healthy flower and then starts her own garden.
  5. Like in the Mickey Mouse 2013 series, absolutely stunning and amazing backgrounds.
  6. And even better, Chris Houghton, who wrote this episode along with Darrick Bachman and series developer Paul Rudish, would later go on to create Big City Greens along with his brother Shane! The series also premiered on Disney Channel.

The Only Bad Quality

  1. Mickey Mouse doesn't appear in this episode, not even a single cameo

Reception

  • It holds a rating of 6.9 out of 10 on IMDB.

Trivia

  • This was the final Mickey Mouse episode to be released in 2014, as the next episode (entitled Goofy's First Love) would be released one month later in January 2015.
  • This was the first Mickey Mouse 2013 short where Mickey doesn't appear at all. In fact, we only see Minnie along with Donald as a minor cameo - this would later happen in June 2016 with "No Reservations".
  • Despite being a Mickey Mouse episode, this episode only has the title in the opening "Minnie Mouse". This was because the episode only centers around Minnie.
