"Come Along With Me" is the thirteenth episode in the ninth season of Adventure Time. It is the two-hundred eightieth episode overall. It is the series finale of Adventure Time, one of Cartoon Network's most influential and longest ran shows.

In this special, duo Finn and Jake must help their friend Princess Bubblegum battle Gumbald, her vengeful creation.

Why This Will Be Finn And Jake's Last Adventure

  1. The episode officially marked the end of Adventure Time, one of CN's most influential shows that saved the channel from creative rut it was in. The way they decided to end it was perfect.
  2. They introduce to us two brand new characters: Shermy and Beth the Pup Princess, the Finn and Jake of the future.
  3. They made Fern's death a subtle reference to Spider Man's death in Avengers: Infinity War.
  4. You And I Will Always Be Back Then (Time Adventure) and Come Along With Me (Song) are really emotional songs.
  5. Fern dying then turning into a tall tree 1000 years later is really satisfying.
  6. They finally explain to us about the things that were in Ooo, one-thousand years later, like the Ice Thing being revealed to be Gunter and the large tree at the site of Finn and Jake's Tree Fort that was shown in Lemonhope Part 2 and Graybles 1000+ being revealed to be Fern.
  7. Smooth and fluid animation.

Bad Qualities

  1. The advertising is kinda false; the advertisements said the episode was going to have a war in it, but depending upon your opinion, it can be disappointing that it didn’t happen.
  2. Golb's appearance in the second half was kind of rushed.
    • The finale itself can be rushed at times, leaving several loose ends unresolved, Finn being reduced to a secondary character and not giving him a romantic closure with Flame Princess or Huntress Wizard.

  • It holds a rating of 9.7/10 on IMDB.

  • One of the ending shots showing what everyone is doing after the show is heavily inspired by the subscription cover for Issue 51 of the Adventure Time comic series.
  • This is the first appearance of the Duke of Nuts since Season 1's "The Duke". Despite Princess Bubblegum's hatred for him, he appears to be fighting on her side of the war.
  • King Man explains that Betty linked herself to Maja and was attempting to harness the power of GOLB. This was likely part of the plan to bring Simon and Margles back that she mentioned to him at the end of "Temple of Mars".
  • In BMO's hideout, between the door and a window, there is a sign saying "TRUST NO ONE," which is a notable text of Journal 3 from the 2012 Disney XD horror cartoon series, Gravity Falls and Dudley's infamous quote from the T.U.F.F. Puppy episode, "Top Dog".
