Crossover Nexus is a Cartoon Network crossover featuring Garnet from Steven Universe, K.O., Raven from Teen Titans Go!, and Ben Tennyson from Ben 10 (2016), alongside multiple other characters from several Cartoon Network shows.

When K.O. is transported to CN City, he teams up with Garnet, Ben, and Raven to stop Strike from destroying the city and other Cartoon Network characters.

Why It Rocks

  1. The special is known to crossover Cartoon Network characters in the most iconic scenes imaginable, the most well-known scene is K.O., Garnet, and Ben finding numerous other Cartoon Network characters frozen in stone with red X's on them, which is creative.
  2. Garnet and K.O.'s bond is rather sweet and genuine, especially when he gets a Pow Card of her.
  3. The crossover brought back the CN city era from 2004 and the Noods.
  4. Raven and Ben are more enjoyable than in their respective shows (Raven is a good choice representing TTG, since she’s the most tolerable of the Titans, and the reboot Ben acts like his likable self from the classic series and Season 5 of the 2016 Ben 10 reboot).
  5. Strike is a threatening villain.
  6. The animation is fluid, bearing a strong resemblance to the OK K.O: Let's Be Heroes! style.
  7. There are even characters from more obscure shows like Sym-Bionic Titan, Megas XLR, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, The Moxy Show, Generator Rex, The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, Whatever Happened To... Robot Jones?, and Robotomy!
  8. Characters from shows that didn't exist when this episode had premiered also made cameos, such as Valentino from Victor and Valentino, Mao Mao, One-One from Infinity Train, Tiggy from the upcoming Tig N Seek and 2 unnamed characters from the upcoming The Fungies
  9. Ben transforms into several Cartoon Network characters and as he punches Strike, the classic Cartoon Cartoon Fridays jingle can be heard!
  10. It's a gigantic surprise present to Cartoon Network.
  11. Black Hat from Villainous makes a cameo.

Bad Qualities

  1. There are some bad shows featured in the episode, like Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, The Problem Solverz, Teen Titans Go! (despite Raven being likable), Ben 10 (2016, despite Ben being likable) and Out of Jimmy's Head.
  2. Some other shows like, Total Drama, Unikitty!, Mixels, Grojband, Johnny Test, Transformers Animated, etc. didn't even make cameos in this crossover, despite for various reasons like belonging to other properties outside of Cartoon Network.
  3. Strike, the main antagonist, doesn't really have much of a motive for destroying CN City and hunting down heroes other than "he's evil, and that's what he does". Raven even mocks him for it.
  4. Raven (despite not being a bad character) doesn't belong in this crossover event as Teen Titans Go! isn't technically a Cartoon Network original series.
    • Teen Titans Go! was produced and owned by Warner Bros. Animation rather than Cartoon Network Studios.
    • It would've made more sense to add Bubbles from the PowerPuff Girls to the crossover as Tara Strong also voices her.
      • Then again, the 2016 Reboot ruined that possibility due to Tara not voicing her anymore.
