All of the superheroes were from Justice League Unlimited.

The DC Animated Universe, or DCAU, is the name given to the shared continuity existing between the DC Comics-based animated series produced by Warner Bros. Animation from 1992 to 2006.

Why It Rocks

  1. It was a great idea that either Bruce Timm or Paul Dini created this universe in the first place.
  2. They made some great shows by Bruce Timm such as Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures, Batman Beyond, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited and while two other shows Static Shock and The Zeta Project where also made by other crew.
  3. The animation and the character designs look awesome and unique.
  4. Beside Timm and Dini, the universe was also made by some other crew like Eric Radomski, Alan Burnett, the late Dwayne McDuffie, Denys Cowan and Robert Goodman.
  5. Memorable characters for the heroes like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Supergirl, Static, The Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl as well as the villains like the Joker, Lex Luthor, Darkseid, Brainiac, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Two-Face, the Penguin, and the Riddler.
  6. Great voice acting from every other series like Kevin Conroy, Tim Daly, George Newbern, Susan Eisenberg, Phil LaMarr, Tara Strong, Loren Lester, Will Friedle, Michael Rosenbaum, Maria Canals-Barrera, Carl Lumbly, Mark Hamill, Clancy Brown, Arleen Sorkin.
  7. Most of the characters made their first appearance like Harley Quinn, Nora Fries, Mercy Graves and Terry McGinnis.
  8. It spawned some merchandise like comic books, video games, films, toys. Even Warner Bros. released the canonical DCAU Macromedia Flash web cartoon series, Gotham Girls.
  9. Speaking of which, it was spawned some films, which was focused on Batman such as Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker and Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman.
  10. Some of the episodes have some heartwarming moments like Mr. Freeze's backstory.
  11. Great crossovers from this universe, like "World's Finest", "Zeta", "The Big Leagues", "Hard as Nails", "A League of Their Own" and "Future Shock".
  12. Great composers for the theme songs, especially from the late Shirley Walker.
  13. It helps the other studios that made the animation like Spectrum Animation, Sunrise, Koko Enterprises Ltd. and Dong Yang Animation Co.
  14. Even though it ended in 2006 after Justice League Unlimited, they still do a great job voicing the characters for the non-DCAU projects, such as shows, movies and video games.

The Only Bad Quality

  1. The continuity of Static Shock and The Zeta Project is heavily disputed.
