Darkwing Duck is an American animated action-adventure comedy television series produced by Walt Disney Television Animationthat first ran from 1991 to 1992 on both the syndicated programming block The Disney Afternoon and Saturday mornings on ABC. Spin-off of DuckTales.

Why It Rocks

  1. It mixes humor and action into one awesome package.
  2. Darkwing is a unique character who's only a superhero for the fame and not because he wants to keep the world safe.
  3. The fight scenes are great and they have a great use of slapstick.
  4. Despite being a silly comedy, there's also some emotional moments, such as this one.
  5. Great and memorable villains who serve as good foes to Darkwing, such as Nega Duck.
    • The villains, as Nega Duck, Megavolt, Bushroot, Quackerjack, The Liquidator, Steelbeak, Taurus Bulba, Tuskernini, Ammonia Pine, Jambalaya Jake, Professor Moliarty and Splatter Phoenix, are considered the most loved and important in every episode.
  6. The characters are likable and funny, such as Darkwing, who while he is a silly superhero that is really incompetent, is actually a really caring father and he can relate to actual parents taking care of their kids.
  7. Darkwing has plenty of catchphrases that are really memorable, such as "Let's get dangerous!".
  8. Awesome theme song.
  9. Fun and enjoyable soundtrack that is compressed very well.
  10. Funny gags, slapstick comedies, awesome and underrated moments and interesting episodes.
  11. For fans, Darkwing Duck is better than DuckTales.
  12. The reboot of DuckTales implimented many elements and characters of this show into it's own.

Bad Qualities

  1. It ended way too quickly.
  2. Some episodes without villains are very awful.
