Hour of Power is the sixth and seventh episode of the third season of Henry Danger. It premiered on November 11, 2016 to an audience of 3.16 million viewers, making this the highest viewed episode of the series.

Captain Man's old sidekick turned super villain, Drex has escaped prison so Kid Danger is the only one able to stop him. The first time, he fails and in the moment, . . . . . . HE QUITS FIGHTING CRIME! But then, he was brought back to the Man Cave by Schwoz and Charlotte and in the process, Henry got the ability to move fast.

Why It Rocks

  1. The introduction of one of the greatest Henry Danger villains, Drex.
  2. After Part 2 of this episode, Henry finally got a super power.
    • Unfortunately, he loses it in "A New Hero" and stays powerless for the rest of the series.
  3. One of the most emotional scenes in the episode was when Henry quit as Kid Danger.
  4. "Spanky, spanky, spank your butt. Dodah! Dodah! Spanky, spanky, spank your butt. Oh, de dodah day. Spank your butt all night. Spank your butt all day. Spank your butt till it's red and sore. Wow, I hate your face!"
  5. Captain Man & Kid Danger are more likable then they were during Season 1 - 3.
  6. Even though it's still a little stale, the acting got slightly better.
  7. More funny moments like, when Charlotte said Kooschtello hair looks nice and then she said, "Want to hold it?" and her hair was revealed to be Schwoz's same hair style.
  8. Speaking of Kooschtello, her and Schwabbit were played by married actors, Danielle Morrow and Jeremy Rowley who previously portrayed Nora Dershlit & Lewbert Sline in iCarly.
  9. The writing had improved from the other episodes. No offense, Seasons 4 - 5.
  10. The little kid's recreation of Henry being spanked by Drex.
  11. Hyper-motility sounds like and is a pretty cool superpower to get.
  12. It was the highest viewed episode with 3.16 million viewers.

Bad Qualities

  1. While good, the scene where Henry quits can be heartbreaking for some fans of the show.
  2. Drex's face when he was in the machine that makes him unable do anything looks unappealing.
  3. As mentioned above, the acting was still kinda saggy.
  4. The newscasters, again, are still used as filler.

  • It was hinted that Henry's new power was quick abilities considering the original title was "Fast & Dangerous".
  • This was the first episode to air at 7pm EST, as opposed to 8pm.
  • This episode premiered on Veteran's Day.
  • Kid Danger getting super speed powers resembles a familiar super hero in the DC Universe called Kid Flash who also has super speed.
  • It is revealed that Ray is allergic to nuts, but doesn't care about the allergy.
  • The Bakery's name in the episode was named Schneider's Bakery, just like the Production Company and Dan's grandfather's bakery under the same name.
  • It's unknown why Captain Man wanted to keep the fact that he already had a sidekick from Henry. It's not like he liked Drex more than Henry.
  • This is the third one hour special of the series, the first being The Danger Begins and the second being Danger & Thunder.
  • Unlike all other hour long or two-part episodes, Piper was not in this episode.
  • Captain Man's head being in a box was written in due to Cooper Barnes' wife being in labor during the production of the episode. Therefore, Cooper couldn't be in some of the episode and recorded his voice later on. A double took his place during this period.
