When Homer is secretly videotaped complaining about his family on a "hidden camera" show, they send him off to a rock-and-roll fantasy camp so he can regroup and try to live his dream.

Why It Rocks

  1. The idea of Homer going to a rock-and-roll-themed summer camp is a very creative concept.
  2. Many hilarious moments, such as:
    • Homer and his friends making out with cardboard cut-outs of groupies.
    • Homer using his "All-Access" pass to get into a refreshment counter and a ladies' bathroom.
    • Homer using the devil car the Rolling Stones gave him to burn Principal Skinner's clothes off.
  3. A very creative plot.
  4. It's nice to see Homer happy throughout the episode.
  5. The ending where Homer decides to stay with his family is also heartwarming.

  • This episode guest stars a lot of real-life rock-and-roll musicians.
  • It is also the last episode produced with cel animation.
