Jessie Goes to Hollywood is the 20th and final episode of Season 4 of Jessie and the 98th episode overall, as well as the series finale.

Plot

Christina Ross returns home just in time for Jessie to head to Los Angeles for a movie role, and the kids still realise that they need her and follow her.

Why It Rocks

Hollywood is the best location for a finale!
  1. This episode started off good, with the family eating breakfast, and then a surprise appearance of Christina Ross, the Ross’ mother, which is awesome.
  2. This is also pretty emotional, as while Christina gives good gifts to the kids and tries to spend time with them, they would rather spend time with Jessie.
    • But this does make sense, as since Christina’s been always busy during most of the series, you can understand why the kids would want to spend more time with Jessie.
  3. There are some funny moments in the episode, such as Bertram‘s confession of being lazy to Christina, and the H of Hollywood falling over after Jessie saves the kids.
  4. Even though getting Jessie a star role in a movie in Hollywood was part of Christina’s plan, it was still a pretty nice thing to do for Jessie.
  5. The kids actually start to miss Jessie, and knowing that their mom, Christina, was once again going to be busy, they went to Hollywood to see her.
  6. While Christina was going to be busy again, she changed her mind immediately once Bertram tells her the kids went to Hollywood to see Jessie.
  7. While the kids were watching Jessie’s hilarious fails at acting from the H of Hollywood, it starts to tip over, thus putting them in danger. Jessie hears the kids cries for help, and she decides to leave the set to save them.
  8. Christina arrives at Hollywood to get her kids, and Jessie uses the studio props to help save the kids. She got them and herself back to safe ground before the H fell over completely.
  9. There are plenty of heartwarming moments in the episode, such as Jessie rescuing the kids, and when the kids encouraged her to take the Hollywood job of being in a TV show about a superhero nanny.
  10. Christina decides to be a stay at home Mom to spend time with her kids, and we see they are enjoying that, which was also heartwarming.
  11. The part where Jessie says goodbye to the Ross family to achieve her dreams in Hollywood is very emotional and well-executed, with everyone having a group hug before she leaves.
  12. Jessie sees Tony at Hollywood, who become a security guard for the film studio, and thus is living in Hollywood too. They had a good moment together.
  13. The Ross kids went to Hollywood one last time to cheer Jessie on, and while the kids accidentally hit Jessie with the golf cart, they didn’t mean too and she was ok.
  14. The ending was good and heartwarming as the kids helped Jessie up and they all hugged each other as they and Tony went into the Hollywood studio.
  15. This episode was an awesome way to end the series.

The Only Bad Quality

  1. Morgan Ross is absent in this episode. While this wouldn’t be too big of a deal, the reason this is the only bad quality is because Christina decided to be a stay at home Mom. What about Morgan? Did he get the news, did he come home to be a stay at home Dad? We may never know.
