Kamen Rider Zero-One (仮面ライダーディケイド Kamen Raidā Zerowan , Masked Rider Zero-One) is a Japanese tokusatsu drama in Toei Company's Kamen Rider Series. It is the first series to debut during the Reiwa period and the thirtieth overall. The series premiered on September 1, 2019, joining Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger in the Super Hero Time line-up after the finale of Kamen Rider Zi-O. After Ryusoulger concluded on March 1, 2020, the series was joined in the Super Hero Time lineup with Mashin Sentai Kiramager on March 8, 2020.

Why It Rocks

1. Likeable characters such as Aruto Hiden, Isamu Fuwa, Yua Yaiba, and Izu.
2. The fight scenes are well choreographed.
3. Amazing theme song.
4. Decent look suit designs.
5. Metsuboujinrai.net (Jin and Horobi) are interesting villains.
6. Funny running gags such as Izu explaining Aruto's jokes and Fuwa trying not to laugh at them.
7. Izu's death scene was really sad.
8. The concept of having a president being a Kamen Rider is interesting and executed really well.
9. It is the new beginning of the Reiwa Era.
10. It aired both alongside with Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger and Mashin Sentai Kiramager.
11. The finale of the show was decent.
12. Reiwa the First Generation was a good film.

Bad Qualities

1. Aruto's jokes can be quite cringe-worthy at times.
2. Gai's Redemption Arc felt a little forced.
3. Although the movie Reiwa the First Generation was pretty good, they crossed over with Kamen Rider Zi-O in that film.

Trivia

• Due to COVID-19 pandemic, Kamen Rider Zero-One is the first series since Kamen Rider Ex-Aid to conclude with 45 episodes and, alongside Ex-Aid is the shared second-shortest Kamen Rider series overall.
• This is the first series to have its standalone film to be released after the end of the series. Originally, the film was planned for a summer release, double-billed with Kiramager's standalone movie. Instead, both will be released separately after having been delayed. Zero-One's film is set to premiere in December, the month where annual Movie War films are traditionally released.
• As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, filming schedules were altered and broadcasting of new episodes was delayed following the airing of Super Hero Time on May 10, 2020, which included Episode 35 of Zero-One.
• This is also the first series to have an international airing start a week after the end of the series.
