Looney Tunes Cartoons is an American animated web television series developed by Peter Browngardt (creator of Uncle Grandpa) and produced by Warner Bros. Animation, based on the characters from Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies. The series made its worldwide debut at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival on June 10, 2019, and the first 10 episodes from the first season premiered on HBO Max on May 27, 2020.

Why It Rocks

  1. The show manages to stay more true to the original cartoons from the 1930's, 40's, and 50's than ever before, especially the ones directed by Chuck Jones, Bob Clampett, Friz Freleng, and Tex Avery.
  2. The animation is very fluid and matches the spirit of the classic Warner Brothers cartoons.
  3. Great voice acting from Eric Bauza, Jeff Bergman, Bob Bergen, Fred Tatasciore, and Michael Ruocco who do swell jobs at sounding like Mel Blanc, Arthur Q. Bryan and Kent Rogers.
    • The same can be said for Candi Milo with her rendition on Bea Benaderet.
  4. Good musical score that sounds a lot like Carl Stalling's music.
  5. Has several talented crew members from SpongeBob SquarePants.
  6. Funny jokes and humor, frequently taking clichéd Golden Age-era gags and doing something new and creative with them (e.g. "Tunnel Vision" takes a spin on the old "painted tunnel" gag by depicting Wile E. Coyote as trapped in his own painting).
  7. The character designs match the style of their original designs.
  8. Speaking of characters, the Tunes themselves are still as memorable and as likeable as before.
  9. Beautiful and appealing backgrounds.
  10. Unique references, such as Daffy posing with a cement statue of his creator, Tex Avery.
  11. Characters like Beaky Buzzard, Rocky, Mugsy, Ralph Wolf, Sam Sheepdog, Gossamer, and Dr. Frankenbeans finally return to this show after being absent from New Looney Tunes.

The Only Bad Quality

  1. Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam were banned from using guns in the showTTSW.

If HBO Max would be released on my country to watch this show. This looks too promising to be a "reboot".

The Paul Julian recordings used for the Road Runner was most likly a stock sound effect. I think they used Paul Julian's recordings making it reused in this.

Recently there is one joke in this ahow that made people think it's from the original Looney Tunes. Which is nice to hear.
