"Luigi Vendetta" is the second half of the eighth episode in the second season's first half of Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil.

Plot

Fed up with Brad’s constant bullying, Kick enlists the services of Luigi Vendetta, who promises to "take care of" Brad once and for all.

Why It Rocks

  1. "Once Luigi starts something, he finishes it" - Luigi Vendetta.
  2. Speaking of which, Luigi is a very nice guy and although he doesn't beat him up or force him to apologize, he sings a song in an opera-like tone. Although, it sounded like he was just singing at first, he kept singing to Brad everywhere he goes (he was even on Brad's favorite show), and in the toilet and even in the pyramids - therefore, Brad gets his comeuppance near the end.
  3. Kick is still a likable character as he hires Luigi Vendetta thanks to Mouth's advice to settle the score between him and Brad, but then he realizes that Brad is his brother.
  4. The movie that Kick and Brad watched in the Mellowbrook Multiplex, "Sweet Revenge", was pretty decent.
  5. Good Ending: As mentioned above, Luigi kept singing the opera song to Brad everywhere he went and so, he got his comeuppance and ran over to Kick, apologized to him and promised to be the best big brother to him. And it ends with Luigi's final take on his song.

Bad Qualities

  1. Brad is still an unlikable character, especially at the start for putting a fishing rod on him and throwing him around the place and getting hurt, then he grabs a remote-control helicopter and shreds off Kick's daredevil suit and even takes off his underwear! Then, near the end he puts Kick on the clothes line and puts a sock in his mouth. Luckily, he did get his comeuppance as mentioned above.
  2. The only gross-out bit was Kick showing his underwear when Brad shredded him with the remote-control helicopter he stole, and then he pulls his underwear off to show him mostly nude. We also see Brad without trousers at the end when Luigi was singing to him in the toilet.

Reception

  • This episode, along with Hand in Hand, hold a rating of 7.3/10 on IMDB.
