"Mirror Mirror on the Ed" is the second half of the eleventh episode in the second season of Ed, Edd n Eddy.

Plot

The Eds act like each other as part of a game of Truth or Dare.

Why It Rocks

  1. Double D putting a caution sign beside the puddle & warning Ed and Eddy about falling down from the grass was a clever move.
  2. Watching the Eds imitate each other in Truth or Dare was hilarious and interesting for those who like to see imitations, along with the game the cul-de-sac plays beforehand.
  3. "Rolf has never been so confused" - Rolf when seeing the Eds in acting like each other.
  4. While Eddy in Double D's side of the ending was bad, he kind of saw it coming when shoving a telescope through Kevin's ear.
  5. Half-Decent Ending: When Ed in Eddy was playing with Jonny, we cut to him putting Eddy's clothes on Plank, probably getting inspiration by the Eds here.

Bad Qualities

  1. Sarah was still mean-spirited for unreasonably grabbing Double D in Ed by the ear, shouting at and throwing him in his room for no reason, and seeing Ed's room is disgusting.
  2. Half-Bad Ending: On Eddy in Double D's side, he gets grabbed on the ear by Kevin for shoving a telescope through his ear, and then Eddy gets an off-screen punch.

Reception

  • It holds a rating of 7.5/10 on IMDB.

Trivia

  • When Ed excuses his hugging of a chicken by saying it stole his quarter, he is referencing the seagull incident in "Virt-Ed-Go". This reference was made again in "Robbin' Ed".
  • The title of the episode refers to a commonly misquoted line from the Queen in the 1937 film Snow White & the Seven Dwarves: "Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?"
