The final two compete in a pirate-themed challenge & embark in a treasure hunt of knowledge of the season's elimination challenges. Meanwhile, Chef & Chris got in an argument that put their friendship on the line.

Why It Rocks

  1. This episode is one of the season's highlights.
  2. The idea of mashing past challenges from said-season & tweaking them up a bit is pretty interesting.
  3. All of the characters are likable, especially Beth, Duncan, Geoff, and Bridgette.
  4. Funny moments like when Bridgette & Geoff making out in Chris' tanning bed and when Duncan has to answer Courtney's question on what color she's thinking of at the moment.
  5. This is the first time the final two are from separate teams.
    • This is the only season where a Killer Bass member reach the final two in the original series.
    • Although there is also a former Killer bass member reaching the final two in Ridonculous Race, being Geoff.
  6. The scene where Beth saves Duncan from a safe that is crushing him in the earthquake simulator.
  7. The episode ends in a good note where not only Chef & Chris become friends again, but Beth & Duncan starts becoming friends after their small conflict early in the episode.
  8. Unexpected Cliffhanger: Due to Beth & Duncan tied for first in the final challenge, it leads to another good episode ("The Aftermath IV").

Bad Qualities That Might Cause Mutiny

  1. Some mean-spirited moments.
  2. Some gross-out moments like Duncan vomiting after the "Vomit Comet" challenge.
  3. Chris can be unlikable in some moments.
  4. Speaking of WIR#8, the crowd and the contestants were shocked to see the two ending up in a draw.

  1. This is the first (and only) time in Total Drama that an episode ends with a black screen saying "To be Continued".
  2. This is the last actual challenge episode in the season, as for the challenges in "The Aftermath IV" wasn't supposed to happen.
