Power Rangers RPM is the 17th season of the Power Rangers franchise.

Why It Rocks

  1. It is handled by Judd Lynn, who is a very creative head writer for Power Rangers as a whole.
  2. Very interesting backstories for the RPM Rangers, especially Dr. K, Gem, and Gemma.
  3. Venjix is a super intimidating threat to the RPM rangers. He is also the only PR villain that actually succeeds in conquering Earth.
  4. Toy sales were successful.
  5. It takes a silly Sentai and turns it into something dark and awesome.
    • That being said, however, it still has plenty of funny moments that retain the charm of its source material.
  6. Great action/fight scenes.
  7. Great character designs, especially for the villains.
  8. This show aired concurrently with Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.
  9. The finale is AMAZING.
  10. It's got a direct sequel Power Rangers Beast Morphers.
  11. It is, by far, the best of the Disney Era of Power Rangers.
  12. It holds the title of the best and darkest Power Rangers season as a whole.

Bad Qualities

  1. It caused it's Japanese counterpart to lose vasts amounts of ratings, due to being a more successful season.
  2. It teamed up with Power Rangers Samurai, a very terrible Power Rangers season.
  3. It didn’t get to team up with Power Rangers Jungle Fury.
  4. The toys of the Megazords from the show are just cheap knockoffs of their original Japanese counterparts in Go-Onger.
  5. The theme song might be a bit irritating for some people.
  6. Tenaya 7 can be annoying at times.
  7. General Crunch is a terrible villain.
  8. While it's awesome, the following seasons are 2010 re-version of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Power Rangers Samurai are poorly-received.
  9. This was the last season from Disney Era that was of quality until Dino Charge (first half) and Hasbro Era.

In my opinion, this is the greatest Power Rangers Season of All Time

For a adaptation with a dark tone. There a some moments whereas this series isn’t really gruesome and heartbreaking compared to Go-Onger. Such as the scene of what happens when the red Rangers key is injected inside his chest.

Also in comparison whereas the fight scenes weren’t effective, intense and well choreographed as Go-Onger as it uses more Kailishplosions.
