Star☆Twinkle Pretty Cure (スター☆トゥインクルプリキュア, Sutā Touinkuru Purikyua) is a Japanese magical girl anime series by Toei Animation. It is the first Pretty Cure series released in the Reiwa period and the sixteenth installment of the franchise, featuring the fourteenth generation of Cures.

Why It Rocks

  1. The concept of protagonists infused with imagination, outer space, and constellations is pretty cool.
  2. Wonderfully CGI animated transformations.
  3. Its theatrical movie was a great hit.
  4. Lovable characters, such as:
    • Hikaru Hoshina/Cure Star
    • Lala Hagoromo/Cure Milky
    • Elena Amamiya/Cure Soleil
    • Madoka Kaguya/Cure Selene
    • Yuni/Cure Cosmo
    • Fuwa
    • Prunce
  5. Cute and entertaining.
  6. Very appealing art style.
  7. This is the first and only (as of the time this is being posted) Pretty Cure series to feature a Mexican Cure.
  8. The concept of a space-themed Pretty Cure series is incredibly interesting, and arguably one of the best Pretty Cure seasons.
  9. The voice acting is decent, considering the fact they sound similar to Sailor Moon, Ojamajo Doremi, Tokyo Mew Mew, Princess Tutu, Petite Princess Yucie, etc.
  10. Amazing series finale, with the debut of the positive, cheerful and brave girl Nodoka Hanadera/Cure Grace before her main appearance in the next season Healin' Good♥Pretty Cure.

The Only Bad Quality

  1. Sometimes, Hikaru saying "kirayaba" can get annoying.
