"Always we will fight as one, forever fight as one!"

The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes! is an American animated television series by Marvel Animation in cooperation with Film Roman, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers. The show debuted both on Disney XD and online in the fall of 2010, starting with a 20-part micro-series.

Why It Rocks

  1. The show is extremely faithful to the source material, following the early adventures of the team with content from all eras of Marvel.
  2. A great roster of heroes, with each one having their own story to back them up. There's also an excellent roster of villains.
  3. Incredible animation and great action scenes.
  4. The theme song is amazing.
  5. There are several team rotations throughout the show, with the original team being in Season 1 with characters like Captain America being added in Season 2. The team changes even include the New Avengers.
  6. Awesome villains such as Loki, Whirlwind, MODOK, Graviton, Kang the Conqueror the Skrulls, Doctor Doom, Ronan the Accuser, Ultron, Galactus, and more.
  7. The show has great storytelling, and each episode has the perfect blend of action, suspense, and even some humor.
  8. Aside from the Avengers, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, the 2008 incarnation of the Guardians of the Galaxy (Who are best known for being used in the MCU) and the Fantastic Four also make appearances in the show.
  9. Likable characters, Such as Hawkeye and Captain America.

Bad Qualities

  1. The show was cancelled by Disney for no reason at all, despite being successful enough in ratings and reception, and unlike Spectacular Spider-Man (Another Marvel series that got unfairly cancelled), there were no legal issues attached. If the third season was made, the show should have featured the X-Men, more of the Guardians of the Galaxy, rogues galleries of the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Spider-Man, and a conclusion to Surtur's arc, which was never brought up again after "Powerless".
  2. Season 2 had a somewhat rushed ending against Galactus in a final showdown.
  3. The character designs, while not bad, haven't aged very well to try to imitate the classic look.
