"The Strongest Man" is the first episode of the One Punch Man anime series.

Why It Rocks

  1. The first scene of the episode where Vaccine Man was attacking the city and Saitama came to punch him was really funny, especially the caption "How dare you confront me, mother earth's oppent for that insane reason?!?!?!".
  2. A lot of quotes in this episode never gets old, mainly "Not again, all it took was one punch... DAMN IT!!!".
  3. The episode shows Saitama's origin where he was originally a normal business man and then he saved a little boy from a giant crab monster and ever since then, he trained so hard that he gained superpowers and also lost all of his hair.
  4. Saitama's feeling where he has his superpowers is very touching since he lost stuff human and he feels empty.
  5. A number of epic fight scenes like the fight scene where Saitama killed the crab monster and the one in his dream.
  6. The episode has spawned a lot of memes like the one where Saitama smiled at Marugori after he accidently killed his brother due to hitting the wrong person.
  7. A nice little cutscene where the complete white version of Saitama punches the fourth wall.
  8. Genos made a cameo at the end of this episode to tell people that the second episode is coming up later.

Bad Qualities

  1. The infamous scene where Saitama killed the Subterranean People cosplays even though he wasn't aware.
  2. Some parts of the episode could be disturbing.
