  10. There is a funny parody of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode called “Fish in a Drawer”. Also CSI: Crime Scene Investigation made a whole reference episode to this show called “Two and a Half Deaths”.

Bad Qualities

  1. Some unlikable characters such as Judith and Evelyn (Charlie and Alan's mom).
  2. Berta, while hilarious, can be a very mean-spirited and extremely lazy with her work.
    • Some other characters can have some bad flaws them selves
      • Charlie can be a very mean-spirited towards his brother Alan.
      • Alan can sometimes uses Charlie for granted and can be annoying.
      • Jake keeps getting flanderized horribly as the series goes on. He just gets dumber and dumber to point where we have to use the term brain-dead.
      • Judith, while decent in the first half of season 1, is extremely bitchy and unnecessarily rude and cruel and she will do anything to make Alan's life miserable. She even helped Kandi try to make Alan's life more miserable.
  3. While season 8 is still a decent season, it's considered the weakest season out of the good ones as Jake becoming a really dumb kid also due to the fact that season 8 started the downhill slightly.
  4. Mild overuse of sex jokes.
  5. Many mean-spirited jokes.
  6. Some of the jokes can be predictable.

  • Conchata Ferrel, Who played Berta, died on October 12th 2020 from a cardiac arrest
