"Your World is an Illusion" is the 7th episode of Season 2 of OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes and the 61st episode overall.

K.O. meets a new character named Holo Jane; where he learns that his world is not what it seems to be. K.O. experiences all the cliches that happen in cartoons, like endless food, only being able to pick up certain items that are lit up, in the most mind-boggling way possible.

Why It Rocks

  1. The animation is clean, bouncy, and high quality as usual.
  2. This episodeis one of the best episodes to come out of Season two.
  3. Amazing writing, especially when K.O realizes the cartoony imperfections of his world through subtle gags of the production of animation.
  4. An amazing guest appearance by Lola Kirke, voicing the newcomer Holo Jane.
  5. The gag of K.O pointing out that he and many characters don't even have five fingers, making an actual high-five ineffective, is the funniest thing the show has pulled off.
  6. A pretty sweet and kinda inspirational coversation between K.O and Holo Jane; about how everything in life and how we perceive it, is all a matter of our personal point of view.
  7. The episode ends on a endearing/omnious note in which K.O finally hugs his mom, who in turn, randomly sings a part from the intro theme.

Bad Qualities

  1. K.O.'s reaction to Holo Jane was a tad exaggerated and annoying.
  2. Rex Th' Bunny is a pretty barebones character and doesn't do anything else in the episode.

  • This was the last episode Parker Simmons story-boarded on the show.
  • This is the first time Holo-Jane has had a speaking role.
